We have a new guest of honour in our reception. The Spinal Injuries Association’s (SIA) Rebuilding Lives Torch Trophy for 2019 which was awarded to CFG at a special event in Oxfordshire.
The trophy is presented by the SIA’s corporate team based on outstanding commitment and support company-wide from a corporate member that goes above and beyond their expectations for one of their partners. As a business dedicated to helping those affected by injury, it’s a huge honour to receive such a prestigious award.
Four members of our team attended the event – our chairman Alastair Fernie, senior associate Michelle Cresswell and our CEO Richard Clark (pictured). They picked up the award at the Williams Conference Centre, owned by the Williams Formula 1 team, at the awards lunch, which was also attended by the Princess Royal, Princess Anna.
Richard said: “We’re very grateful to the SIA for this recognition, which reflects the superb work our teams do every day to help injured people achieve their best possible outcomes.”
The Torch Trophy now has pride of place in our Cheadle office reception, next to the Manchester Law Society’s PI Team of the Year award, which we won in March.
