Alastair Fernie

Alastair is the owner and Executive Chairman of specialist serious injury business CFG Law. Passionate about the law and about supporting injured people, Alastair believes that working together with those around the injured person, such as relatives and friends, is vital in ensuring the best possible outcome, in line with the firm's purpose: helping those affected by injury - together.

He helped develop CFG's award-winning Client First Service as part of a drive to change the way seriously injured people are supported, focussing on their financial, physical and emotional needs as well as their legal requirements, working in partnership with charities, voluntary organisations and health professionals to help injured people and those around them.

A Manchester University engineering graduate before training as a solicitor, he has extensive experience gained from more than 20 years of helping catastrophically injured clients and their families. His role as Executive Chairman at CFG now involves developing and delivering the firm's strategy to become a leading serious injury business driven by its purpose, helping those with and without a claim to live fulfilled lives.
