We have capped a strong year by promoting five colleagues, including one new Partner and four people who began their careers with the firm.
The news follows a 12-month period that has seen us open a new office in East Anglia, recruiting a highly respected eight-strong team in the process, as well as opening a new consulting office in the Midlands and agreeing on a series of new partnerships to drive future growth.
Its latest promotion round sees Siobhan Thacker, who joined us in April last year as one of the new team in Bury St Edmunds, become a Partner.
Office Services Manager Emma Greenhalgh, our longest-serving team member, is promoted to become a Senior Associate, 27 years after she began her career with us.
She is joined in the promotion news by a trio of colleagues who also began their careers with CFG law and now become Associates – solicitors Daniel Robinson and Sarah Williams as well as Business Improvement Lead Wayne McMurdock.
Our CEO, Richard Clark, said: “It’s always a great feeling to promote people for their part in our success but this year’s news shows that we can reward people whether they have been with us all their careers or for just a few months.
“Emma may have clocked up 27 years here but she still plays a major role every day in making sure our business delivers on our purpose of helping all those affected by injury – together.
“It’s also brilliant to see all three of Sarah, Dan and Wayne continue to develop their careers, having started their working lives at CFG. They’ve got so much to contribute to our future as well and I can’t wait to see what they can achieve.
“Meanwhile, Shiv may only have been with our business for a year but she’s had a huge impact on the work we do for our clients and on our business as a whole. She deserves to be a Partner in our business and also has a major part to play in our future success.”
