Michelle’s path to partner at CFG

At CFG, we help colleagues to develop their careers and are committed to promoting from within. Michelle’s journey demonstrates our commitment to providing opportunities for growth and investing in our colleagues’ career development.

Michelle’s journey began in October 2007, when she joined the firm as a paralegal. By January 2008, she transitioned to a training contract with the firm and qualified as a Solicitor in January 2010. Michelle continued building her experience in supporting people after injury and gained recognition and trust for her dedication to her clients. This was recognised in September 2015, when Michelle was promoted to the position of Associate.

However, Michelle’s journey didn’t stop there. In March 2018, Michelle was again promoted, this time to the position of Senior Associate. This promotion was testament to her experience and leadership qualities and reflected the enthusiasm Michelle showed in providing the very best service to injured people and their families.

Michelle also showed dedication to professional development and in February 2019 she achieved the title of APIL Senior Litigator, showcasing her commitment to excellence in personal injury law.

One significant project that Michelle has been pivotal in developing is our suppliers’ database. This project has ensured clear and open direction for all colleagues and ensures our clients have access to the very best support at the earliest opportunity. Michelle’s management and strategic vision in the project played a crucial role in its success.

In March 2024, Michelle was once again promoted and is now a Partner and Legal Services Suppliers Lead. This appointment not only recognises Michelle’s dedication, hard work and legal experience, but also her capacity to lead and push for the very best service for our clients.

Michelle’s journey highlights the importance of mentorship, continuous learning and seizing opportunities at CFG. Over the years, her responsibilities have expanded, and she has been entrusted with leadership roles within the business.
