We currently have a vacancy for a Legal Support Assistant to join our growing team who would be responsible for delivering a comprehensive and efficient support service to Fee Earners and the wider business.
The role requires someone who is proactive and flexible, and can work as part of a team to provide day to day administrative support to the Legal Assistants which includes; the production of correspondence and documentation; dealing with assigned tasks on the case management system; paper and digital file management.

Key responsibilities
Managing the Incoming Documentation for the fee earning teams, re-naming, categorising and distributing documents in line with the Incoming Documentation Procedure for post and emails into centralised mailboxes
To action and progress assigned tasks on the case management system, to include applying and obtaining medical records
Downloading, bundling and pagination of medical records and other documentation
Disbursement Management – collating invoices, logging for due dates, arranging payment and maintaining a detailed tracker
Provide administrative support in maintaining our Suppliers Database, to include data checks and data inputting
Receive and distribute telephone calls, including initial new client call enquiries, taking details and transferring as appropriate
Skills
Essential:
Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word (advanced), Outlook & Excel (basic)
Ability to work well within a team but also proactively on own initiative
Forward thinking with the ability to consider ways to increase efficiency and productivity within the team
Desired:
Legal or medical experience
Experience of using a case management system
Full Clean Driving Licence
Full-time position but will consider 4 days part-time
Qualifications
English Language GCSE Grade B or above, or equivalent
